Hi, I'm Olena Shadrova. Director and creator.
In 2014, I graduated from the Karpenko-Karyi University with a degree in “Television Directing,” and since then my life has been closely connected to directing.
I create commercials, music videos, promo videos, documentaries, and other projects. I also run my own production studio, where I work with a team to create stories. For me, it is not just about a beautiful image — what I love most is telling stories.
Theatre holds a special place in my life. I am interested in working with dramaturgy, actors, and theatrical form. It is another facet of my directorial practice, one that strongly shapes how I see stories and characters.
I also work extensively with people and teams. I lead Creative Studio SY, where I coordinate a team of 25 people working across photography, video, design, social media, and other creative disciplines.
Over the past several years, I have also been involved in organizing large-scale events — conferences, camps, and creative projects. I am responsible for the creative direction, concept, visual design, and team coordination.
I love that my work is not limited to a single format. I can be directing on set, editing, preparing a theatre production, or bringing together a team for a large project. Yet through all of this, one thing remains constant for me — my love for creativity, good stories, and the opportunity to create something new.
